Important Information for our Travelers Insurance Customers

While this just affects our current Travelers customers, even if you’re not insured by Travelers now, you may be in the future, so please read on.

Yes, we know we just put out an important notice to our Grange customers last week, but we have more important news to share with you this week, which just so happens to be the first day of November. 

Travelers is making changes to the cancel and non-pay process coming up on November 3, 2023. The company is decreasing the number of cancels, non-pays and/or non-sufficient funds incidents that will be allowed to reinstate a policy.
  • For policies less than one year with the company, if there has been a previous cancel or non-pay / non-sufficient funds in the last 12 months, no reinstatements will be considered.
  • For policies with more than one year with the company, for monoline policies (i.e. you only have an auto policy or you only have a home policy) – same as above – for multi-policy accounts, the company will allow one previous cancellation for non-pay or non-sufficient funds within the last 12 months for a reinstatement.
