Your Insurance and COVID-19

Wow, these are tough times. When I wrote to you last month, I never really anticipated things being the way they are today. So many people are suffering right now between the health issues, job losses and the stock market tanking. I do believe there is a light at the end of this tunnel. We will persevere and come out on the other side.

I know many of my clients have some financial hardships at this time, so I’ve compiled information on what my carriers are doing to help people. For my business insurance customers, if you don’t see your carrier listed and you need information on deferring payments, just give me a call.

ALLSTATE - Allstate is allowing customers to pay what they are able to pay with no minimum UP TO two billing cycles as of 03/23/2020.

GRANGE - Grange will be suspending cancellations and waiving late fees 03/18/2020 to 05/29/2020.

NATIONWIDE - Nationwide is willing to suspend cancellation of some policies and waive late fees effective 03/11/2020.

SAFECO & LIBERTY MUTUAL - Safeco & Liberty Mutual will be able to adjust customer’s bills and waive any late fees that incur after 3/1/2020.

TRAVELERS - Suspending all interest, late fees and penalties through 5/15/2020.
